| Issue 191: : Anonyme Lebendorganspenden von Nieren: Ethik und Ökonomisierung. March 2012 | | This paper discusses possibilities to increase the number of organs for patients with end stage renal disease by enlarging the living donor pool beyond donations from family members (i.e. under current German legislation the only permitted living donors), and by creating incentive mechanisms for living organ donations. The ethical implications of this approach are discussed.
