E-Health is more than a slogan: New avenues of information, consulting, and communication provided by the internet compete with established forms of physician-patient interaction and are used increasingly. Schröder reviews opportunities and risks of the new medium for health care, health care ethics, and health policy. He discusses samples of different sites for physicians and the public.
